Organized by Arkitera with the support of Unigen, the Open Door Architecture Festival took place between 16–23 October 2024.
As part of the festival, participants had the opportunity to explore Istanbul's architectural heritage through themed routes organized across different parts of the city. Featuring a selection ranging from historic landmarks to contemporary architectural works, the festival offered visitors a unique perspective on the city.
The Open Door Architecture Festival routes included historic buildings, culturally significant venues, and notable examples of contemporary architecture. Throughout the festival, guided tours allowed participants to experience these landmark buildings firsthand, gaining a deeper understanding of the relationship between architecture, history, and city. By bringing architecture to a wider audience, the festival also contributed to raising awareness of the city's cultural heritage.
